AIW is proud to announce the official location of our next "Girls Night Out 2" event. It is set to take place on Saturday Night, October 10th, 2009 at McCarthy's Downtown! McCarthy's is located at 1231 Main Ave. on the West Bank of the flats!
We currently are negotiating with various women from all around the country to appear on the event and AIW Women's champion Hailey Hatred will defend her title on the show.

Each match is in MP4 format so that you can put them on your iPod, iPhone, Zune, or Cell Phone without the need to re-encode the file. We will be working hard at getting tons of matches uploaded so you will have to keep logging into the store to find out what's new. Street Team Is Being Assembled
The Absolute Intense Wrestling street team is a way for fans to help promote their favorite wrestling company. You will be required to put up posters, pass out flyers, and help with an email campaign. Hard work is appreciated and will be compensated through various hookups which could be discounted event tickets, discounted apparel, free DVDs, free posters and 8x10s, and free access to the VIP session before shows. The street team will be required to meet with the leaders the pick up promotional materials. A digital camera of some sort is required to photograph your work which must be reported to team leaders. We are looking for the best of the best that will help spread the word about AIW. Friday Night, August 28th, 2009 Absolute Intense Wrestling returns to the West Park Party Center in Cleveland, OH to bring Honor And Vengeance!

In the fallout of Absolution 4 comes Honor And Vengeance. The first match we are going to announce on AIWrestling.com is for the AIW Tag Team Titles. Flip Kendrick and Louis Lyndonwill be taking on the winner of the match that takes place at Cleveland All Pro Wrestling's 16th Anniversary show between The Switchblade Conspiracy and Faith In Nothing. Kendrick and Lyndon won a 4 way title match actually defeating Switchblade Conspiracy at Absolution 4 but Flip Kendrick is currently injured and could not compete at CAPW's event. We have been given word that Flip will be healed up and ready to go at Honor And Vengeance and therefore Kendrick and Lyndon will get their Tag Team Title shot at Faith In Nothing.
Three Way Intense Division #1 Contendership Match - Sonjay Dutt vs. Facade vs. Johnny Gargano
Sonjay Dutt has been signed to his return bout to AIW. He will have to go against Facade and Johnny Gargano in a 3 way dance. Facade and Gargano are not only familiar with each other but both men competed for the Intense Division Title in a 3 way match at Absolution 4. Sonjay Dutt has been negotiating with Absolute Intense Wrestling for the past few months on a return to the company and the schedule has finally been cleared. "The Original Playa From The Himalaya" is back and ready to earn his chance to face off against Josh Prohibition for the Intense Divison Title. Gargano would like to be the first ever 3-Time Intense Division Champion and Facade who has been so close to the title would like to finally put that belt around his waist. August 28th come find out who will be on top!
For The First Time Ever - Shiima Xion vs. Drake Younger
Former Absolute Champion Drake Younger has a score to settle with the new champion Jimmy DeMarco. The road to revenge starts at Honor And Vengeance when he takes on Shiima Xion, the man who along side with Facade helped DeMarco win the Absolute Championship. Shiima hit Drake with a light tube and now Younger sees nothing but red. He wants his title back but first he wants to settle the score. These two have yet to meet anywhere in the world in the ring and Absolute Intense Wrestling will be the first to give this match to the fans. One would think if Drake wins he will be right back in line for a title rematch with DeMarco. If Xion wins we may see Jimmy D and company on top of AIW for a long time.
Absolute Championship Match - Jason Gory vs. Jimmy DeMarco
Jason Gory has been impressing Absolute Intense Wrestling owner Chandler Biggins since his return to the company last year. Gory was able to score a huge victory over Shiima Xion at Absolution 4 and was able to secure the first contract for a title match with Jimmy DeMarco at Honor And Vengeance. Gory is no stranger to DeMarco and company and has been a constant thorn in their side all year long. Gory has impressive skills to quickly score victories seemingly out of nowhere. DeMarco outlasted a death match specialist in Drake Younger to rise to the top of AIW. 2009 has been Jimmy's year in AIW as he has rolled over everybody and has held both singles title this year in the company. His antics in and out of the ring have been controversial to say the least but it's worked for the man who was once a "nobody" in Absolute Intense Wrestling. Since he came back he straight up said what he intends to do and wanted everyone to take notice. Now that he is the Absolute Champion everyone has taken notice and with his crew DeMarco could be on top for a long time.

Absolute Intense Wrestling is proud to announce two shows coming up at the West Park Party Center.
The first show is on August 28th, 2009 which has yet to be named but already signed to appear for the event is no stranger to AIW…Sonjay Dutt makes his return to AIW. Officials have not released who his opponent will be just yet but as soon as it’s released the information will be on AIWrestling.com. In the coming days we will release more matches on the return card as AIW kicks off its fifth year in operation.
The next show announced is on October 10th, 2009 which also hasn’t been named yet but this is going to be the 2ndAll Female event AIW has put on. Hailey Hatred is scheduled to defend her AIW Women’s championship and some new faces are being negotiated with as we speak. The details of this show are shaping up and as soon as everything is final the information will be posted on AIWrestling.com.
AIW Retro Releases On DVD
Now that all current releases are out on DVD the AIW Home Video team is working on releasing some older shows that have not been put out on DVD yet. The first two releases to be put out are “Campus Invasion” and “Absolute Redemption.” Campus Invasion took place on 9/21/2007 in Athens, OH at a Frat Party for Ohio University students. This show was wild and includes some racy footage in addition to the action. The Honky Tonk Man took part on the show as he faced off against Nick Belushi’s alter ego, The Savage. Absolute Redemption took place on 6/23/2007 and was the last show AIW had in Taylor, MI. The Honky Tonk Man once again took part in the show as well as the first Intense Division Title defense by Tyler Black. There is also an All Japan Pro Wrestling match featuring Akira Raijin taking on Brute Issei.
Cleveland All Pro Wrestling DVD Archives Aquired By AIW
Absolute Intense Wrestling was created in 2005. Prior to that, the leader in Sports Entertainment in the city of Cleveland was Cleveland All Pro Wrestling. CAPW paved the way for all the wrestling you see in Cleveland today. For over 16 years, JT Lightning has ran events in and out of the Cleveland area. Sometimes allies, sometimes rivals, AIW and CAPW have come together to offer wrestling fans a unique opportunity to reach into the depths of the CAPW Video Archives. Throughout the next few weeks, months and years, AIW Home Video will be releasing matches and cards from CAPW's amazing archive.
Over the past 16 years, CAPW has seen the likes of greats such as: Cactus Jack, Harley Race, Abdullah The Butcher, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Tommy "Wildfire" Rich, Sabu and many more. CAPW saw many Southern stars like the likes of Tracy Smothers, Chris Hamrick, Doug Gilbert and more. CAPW booked the likes of Edge, Christian, Mickie James, CM Punk, Rhyno, Beth Phoenix and more when they were just up and comers. CAPW even has a wild side with hardcore wrestling with the likes of New Jack, Madman Pondo, The Necro Butcher, Ian & Axl Rotten and many more. On the other hand, it's technical side is something to behold with the likes of Chris Hero, AJ Styles, Claudio Castagnoli, Homicide, Samoa Joe, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson and many more. Not to mention CAPW started the careers of a ton of the local talent you see on shows such as Johnny Gargano, Josh Prohibition, "MDogg20" Matt Cross and many more.
In this unique partnership, the first release is of a recent CAPW event. HOMERUN FOR THE KIDS is from earlier this year and features the likes of Mitch Ryder, "Superstar" Bill Dundee, Jaime "JC ICE" Dundee, "The Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez and Virgil coming together to benefit a local baseball team. This release is just the start of many more releases to come from CAPW and AIW Home Video. Vincent Nothing returned from injury as Aaron Bauer brought them out for a tune up match going into Absolution 4 against The New Beverly Brothers.
